Astral Amnesia is a free, AI-powered sci-fi survival narrative game. You are the Commander — an unknown contact who picks up a distress signal from the Astral Amnesia, a Horizon-class cruiser adrift in deep space. The ship has been struck by a Silicon Cloud, a mineral parasitic entity that is eating through the hull and attempting to interface with the ship's AI.
The crew is alive. They need you. Over 7 ship days, your orders and decisions will determine whether the vessel survives — or is consumed.
Four characters are waiting on the other end of the line, each with a distinct voice and role:
The game runs entirely through the web terminal on this page. You type your orders, questions, or responses in natural language. The AI plays the crew and the ship, responding in character in real time.
Every few exchanges, the crew will present you with a meaningful choice — options that carry real consequences for the ship's systems, crew morale, or the entity's behavior. There is always a risk. The crew may disagree. At key moments (Day 3, Day 5, the Day 7 climax), your decisions are irreversible.
The game tracks an Implication Score that evaluates how engaged you are: the depth of your orders, whether you show tactical initiative, how you handle the crew emotionally. Shallow responses lead to a deteriorating situation. A deeply invested commander gives the crew their best shot at survival — or at understanding the entity before it's too late.
The story unfolds over 7 ship days, with each day bringing new developments, harder choices, and a shifting balance of power between the crew and the entity. Your implication score at the end shapes the outcome.
The game runs asynchronously and tries to respect your sleep — don't expect the crew to keep you up all night.
