Web sessions: When you start a session via the website, we create an anonymous session token stored in your browser's local storage. We record the messages you send, the game's responses, your declared timezone and browser language, and your IP address for rate-limiting purposes. We do not link this data to any personal identity.
Telegram sessions: When you interact with @AstralAmnesiaBot on Telegram, we receive your Telegram user ID and the messages you send. We do not store your name or username beyond what Telegram provides in the message payload.
Your messages are used exclusively to generate game responses and maintain your session state. We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or share it with anyone outside the game infrastructure.
We use conversation data in aggregate (no personal identifiers) to improve game quality and monitor for abuse.
Session data is retained for the duration of a game playthrough. Inactive sessions may be purged after 90 days.
The web interface uses browser local storage (not cookies) to remember your session token. No tracking cookies are set. No third-party analytics scripts are loaded.
Google Fonts is loaded from Google's CDN, which may result in a connection to Google's servers. See Google's privacy policy for details.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us via Telegram at @AstralAmnesiaBot.
