Privacy policy

Last updated: 5 September 2026

Astral Amnesia collects no personal data. The game connects to no server, shows no advertising, requires no account and contains no analytics of any kind. Your saved games stay on your device.

1. Who is responsible

The Astral Amnesia application and the astralamnesia.com website are published by Le Smart Gone, a French limited liability company (SARL) registered under SIREN number 948 601 455. The data controller is the company itself. Contact: contact@lesmartgone.fr. Full legal details are on the legal notice page.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to the Astral Amnesia application, on every platform it is distributed through, and to the astralamnesia.com website.

3. Data processed by the application: none

The detail, because “none” deserves to be spelled out:

The game runs entirely offline. It makes no network request, neither at launch nor during play.

4. Your saves and settings

Saved games, the chosen language, volume and display preferences are written locally, in the private storage area reserved for the application on your device. They are never transmitted, never synchronised, and nobody but you has access to them.

To erase everything: delete your saves from the in-game menu, or uninstall the application — which removes all of these files.

5. What the app store collects, on its own account

When you install the application from a store, the operator of that store (Google, for Google Play) acts as a separate data controller, under its own privacy policy, over which the game’s author has no control.

What the store processes What the author receives
Installs and uninstalls, country, device model, system version, published ratings and reviews. Aggregated, anonymous statistics — never an identity or an identifiable device.
Crash reports and stability statistics, only if you have enabled their sharing in your device settings. Anonymous technical traces, useful for fixing bugs.

These operations fall under the privacy policy of the store concerned, and under your own system settings.

6. The astralamnesia.com website

The website uses no cookies, no trackers, no third-party scripts, no remote fonts and no analytics. No request is made to any other domain: every resource on the page is served from astralamnesia.com.

The host, Cloudflare, Inc., keeps technical logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page, browser type) necessary to operate the service, secure it and prevent abuse. Legal basis: the publisher’s legitimate interest in a working, protected website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are not used for tracking, profiling or advertising.

7. If you write to us

Writing to contact@lesmartgone.fr means sending your email address and the content of your message. They are used only to reply to you, and kept for as long as it takes to handle the request — twelve months at most. They are never sold, and never used to send you anything beyond that reply.

8. Minors

The game deals with adult themes and is not intended for young children. As no data is collected, no data concerning a minor is collected either.

9. Your rights

The GDPR grants you rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability. In practice the publisher holds no data about you: there is nothing to extract, nothing to correct and nothing to erase — apart from an email exchange, if any, which you can ask to have deleted at any time.

To exercise these rights: contact@lesmartgone.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French supervisory authority.

10. Recipients

Since the game collects no data, there is no recipient on the application’s side. The only parties involved, each in its own role, are Cloudflare, Inc. for website hosting and the app store operator for distribution. No other third party, on any account.

11. Changes

Any change to this policy will be published on this page, with its update date. A substantial change — adding analytics, for instance — would be announced plainly, not slipped quietly into a paragraph.
